Biography

LSZ is a French guitarist, composer and performer born in 1981.

As a teenager, after years of classical piano lessons, he decided to take up the guitar on a self-taught basis.

Inspired by the playing techniques of his idols (Eddie Van Halen, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Marty Friedman and John Petrucci), he developed his own style before pausing his musical activities to study medicine, graduate and build a family.

It wasn’t until two decades later that he revived his passion and decided to  produce an instrumental solo album, resolutely rock, even metal, with electronic touches.

This first opus, entitled Hybride Électrique (Electric Hybrid), was released in February 2025. LSZs’ instrument delivers limpid melodies, backed by powerful harmonies and original arrangements.

The album, crafted with an electric guitar, a multi-effects pedalboard, a groovebox, a computer and a few cables only, sends strong emotions through ten tracks that share LSZ’s distinctive playing style and his love of the electric guitar.
